The second thing that isnt really strongest part of DayZ's graphics is ambient occlusion Its not as bad once its later or earlier but in noon that effect is just the worst thing in the game.
Since thats how i run most of my time in forrests and it looks just simply so bad. At the last screenshot, we can see both super bright screen caused by looking at the ground that reflects light and weird tree shadows at noon.
